Can Not Open Crosswords

I cannot open Crosswords. There is no error message. When I click on it nothing happens. My computer is:
MacBook Pro
Chip: Apple M3 Pro
Memory: 36GB
MacOS Sonoma 14.5

Please help or refund

   This is a brand new computer that I got last week. Wanted some puzzles so bought the Crosswords app on May 21. It has never worked. Can’t open it.

   Sue,
   We're getting ready to release an update to Crosswords this week. It should fix the problem you're seeing. If you're still dissatisfied with the app, you'll need to reach out to Apple's AppStore to receive a refund; we don't have the ability to do that.
