New York Times (premium) no longer authenticates from iPhone
I noted that an ANdroid user had the same problem. I can access my NYT account with no problem at their site. Crossword for iPhone no longer will validate the correct user name and password as of yesterday.

Terry,
Can you log into the New York Times Premium Crosswords area (http://select.nytimes.com/premium/xword/puzzles.html?ocid=1&inc... )? The New York Times is currently updating their website, which seems to be preventing some users from accessing their Crosswords section.
If you can access the Premium Crosswords section, try re-entering your credentials into the Crosswords app. Thanks!

I can access the puzzles on their site without a problem. Tried re-entering my ID and PW on your app, but it will not validate. I wonder whether Magmic, the official licensee of NYT puzzles (with their own iPhone app), has caused other apps like Crosswords to be denied access.

Terry,
Do you happen to have a New York Times Home Delivery account? Or do you only have a Premium Crosswords subscription?

I have a home delivery account which allows all access to NYT products. I had no access problems until yesterday.

Unfortunately, it appears that due to the upcoming New York Times changes, we're encountering problems validating Home Delivery accounts. We're currently working on pinpointing the problem, and hopefully it'll be resolved soon. Our apologies for the inconvenience!

Thanks. I'll stand by.
You should probably post a notice on your site.

Terry,
We've added an item to our FAQ addressing the situation, and the next version of Crosswords will also include automated provider problem reporting. Again, our apologies for the inconvenience!
