Keep getting saved solution prompt

Since the Telegraph crosswords cam back online I have an odd problem. I am only doing crosswords on a single device, but every time I go back to a crossword I get prompted twice with a message saying there is a saved solution available for the device I am currently on and asking whether I want to update. I think that if I did not make updates on another device there is nothing to sync and I should not get this prompt. More strangely, if I get a notification from some other app while working on a crossword, I again get prompted with the saved solution popup.

   Is this with Crosswords (the new, iOS7 version) or Crosswords Classic (the old stand-by)?

   Any news on when this update will be out - I'm still having this problem.

   The new version was submitted to Apple over the weekend, so we're just waiting for them to approve it. Hopefully only a few more days.
