Restoring to a new Palm device

I had a Treo 90 and did a full backup with Right Backup 2. My Treo 90 died on me and now I'm trying to do a restore on the new Treo 755p that I got. It says that the restore is complete and then the Treo resets, but none of my data is there- memo pad items, contacts, and datebook items do not appear. Your website says that the Treo 755p is also compatible with Right Backup 2 so I don't understand why the restore isn't working.

    Nathan,
The Treo 90 and the Treo 755p use two very different versions of the Palm OS. Your data is most likely on the Treo, but not in a format it can understand. You'll need to Sync the Treo 90 with your desktop computer, and then sync the 755p. Sorry!

Do you know what other Treo devices use the same operating system as the Treo 90? Would the restore work if I bought one of those other devices?

I think your best bet is to find another Treo 90. I believe Handspring added a bunch of extensions to the older Treos that, without going through Palm Desktop, won't translate well to other devices. Sorry!
