see icon, app won't open

I see it in menu bar, but cannot bring any puzzles up. Worked for a while. Very disappointed. Running it on macbook pro, yosemite, 10.10.5 thanks if you can help me

   Ben,
   FYI.  The app worked for one day.  Now I open it and select a puzzle, it turns yellow and does not open.  Any ideas?

   Is this happening with all puzzles? Have you tried quitting the app and re-opening?

    Are there any puzzle windows shown in the "Windows' menu in the app? I'm still unable to reproduce the problem here.

    I just opened the app, the latest version you sent and it is working.  Thank you!  I open with a double click.
