We
wanted to increase the amount of room to see the puzzle when
viewing in landscape on the iPad. However, given the amount of
space available on the iPad Pro, it may make more sense for us to
not hide the navigation bar on those devices. We'll definitely take
a look at that.

Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me. You were able to keep the
navigation bar in Crosswords Classics without effecting the space.
I think you should be able to do it in Crosswords Pro. Here is the
problem. Because the physical keyboard I use is part of the iPad
case, I can only use it in landscape mode. If I want to change
something like “show errors” or “don’t show
errors” I have to turn the iPad into Portrait mode. Very
inconvenient. Plus, the whole puzzle looks incomplete without
something like the navigation bar framing it.

Those are my thoughts. Hope you take them into
consideration.

Thanks,

We took a different approach with Crosswords (vs. Classic), and
tried to show more content at the expense of controls. However, I
think you make a good case that, at least on the 12.9" Pro, we
don't need to make that trade off. The next version of Crosswords
will address that. Thanks for your comments; please, keep them
coming!
