<p>I got the Testflight notification and loaded the beta version.
My comments<br>
below in italics against the issues I reported.</p>
<p>The keyboard seems to have an issue around the X key where keys
nearby will show up as X on a fairly frequent basis. No other app I
have shows<br>
this issue so I don't think it is my phone or screen<br>
<em>This problem still exists - it's almost like the key size of
the X key is too large, so often when I select one of the
surrounding keys I get X<br>
instead.</em><br>
- When I finish a Crossword, I often see two entries on the
leaderboard, one with just my name, and one with my name followed
by [GC]. Sometimes the<br>
entries are split between the finished and finished with hints
sections.<br>
<em>I only completed one Crossword so far, so early days, but I
don't see a leaderboard issue yet. I did see one odd thing though -
I completed the<br>
Telegraph crossword for Dec 28th. When I go to the info for the
puzzle, and<br>
hit the Complete % to look for errors, it says there is one
incorrect<br>
square. However, when I look at the leaderboard, it shows me as
having<br>
correctly completed the puzzle, and I don't see any
errors.</em><br>
- If i switch away from the app, and then switch back to it, some
of the menu items at the bottom are missing, and the app is
unresponsive until I<br>
hit the Back key and reselect the crossword<br>
<em>This seems to be fixed - haven't seen an occurrence.</em> - I
think the whole structure of viewing Crossword info is quite
confusing - it is cumbersome to navigate to the leaderboard screen
- When I first select a clue by touching one of the clue squares in
the grid with a multi word answer, the word highlighting does not
reflect the<br>
answer until I select the clue again. Often a single square will
be<br>
highlighted, and then when I select the clue by touching the grid
again the<br>
correct highlighting occurs.<br>
<em>The behavior here seems to have changed. When I first select a
multi word clue, either by moving into it using the arrow keys, or
by selecting one of<br>
the squares in the clue, the separate words are not highlighted.
However if<br>
I move away from the clue and then move back, the words are
highlighted<br>
correctly, and seem to highlight correctly every time from then
onwards.</em></p>

<p>Yes, looks much better - both the x issue and the highlighting
issue seem to be resolved, and the hint display mentioned in the
release notes also seems much clearer now.</p>

make using the app much more enjoyable,</p>

<p>One thing that still seems to be occurring intermittently is
that when I return to the app after using a variety of other apps
for a while the app seems frozen and the timer display at the
bottom is missing. I can recover the app by using the back button
at the bottom and then reselecting the crossword. See image
attached</p>

complete a crossword I end up with two entries on the leaderboard,
one with [GC] after my id and one without. Very occasionally one
appears in the without hints section, and one appears in the with

<p>One more behavior I have noticed. Previously, when I selected
the % complete item in the info for a crossword, I would get a
popup showing the number of incorrect squares, plus an option to
clear the squares with errors. It now seems that the option to
clear the error squares has gone away. This means that the only way
to find where the bad squares are is to go clue by clue and
highlight errors in each clue, which is much less convenient,</p>
