NY Times stopped working for me too
I am also having the same problem as Kmills: NY Times authentication now fails as of a couple of days ago. I've confirmed with the NY Times that my subscription is active, and I'm able to access the crossword from a web browser. I'm on an Ipad running iOS 10.3.1.

Unfortunately, there seem to be some intermittent issues with standard NYT authentication. Can you re-entering your credentials and, if your credentials are rejected, please reply with the time that you encountered the error (please include your time zone), and then try entering your credentials into the NYT Mini and please let us know if they're also rejected there. Hopefully this will help us pinpoint the problem. Our apologies for the inconvenience!
