Is there any update on this? I have multiple issues with subscription puzzles:
- the issue identified where I can't browse to the Downloads location from the app.
- my AVCX puzzles don't get downloaded automatically to the app, and when I try to save the .puz file from the distribution email I get an error "no app available for .puz" (my ID/password is correct). Note I can download the MGCC .puz file from email, i just can't browse to it from the Stand Alone app and I can't open it from the Downloads folder (no app available).
The primary reason I have the app is to do these puzzles - if I can't open .puz files either automatically or by browsing to them then the app is essentially useless to me. It stopped working when I changed from phone from Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Android V5 to Samsung Galaxy A8 Android V8.0.0. I have uninstalled/re-installed the app a couple of times.

    Jim, the file import doesn't work on a lot of devices, and the issue is the same with other apps registered to handle .puz files. Some users have reported that the OS will find files only if they are in the root folder. It is an OS bug as far as I can tell. I've added dropbox as an alternative for this reason.
