No longer able to copy NYTimes crossword to the app

Today I discovered that I can no longer download my NYTimes crossword to the app. I can download it to my ipad but the “copy to crosswords” option disappeared. Any suggestions?

   Dan,

   We're currently investigating this issue. In the meantime, you can now download NYT puzzles directly via the app by tapping on the Settings gear on the puzzle list pane, then tap 'Select Puzzle Providers'.

   What version of crosswords are you using? Is it "Crosswords Classic" or "Crosswords"?

   Hi.

   I have “Crosswords Classic” v2.83.

   I see on the app settings - just noticed it today - that I should enter my
   username and password for my NYT crossword subscription if I want an
   automatic download. I’m just a little uncomfortable providing that
   information to a third party. I’m concerned about someone using it to
   access my account and credit card info.
