American Values Club crosswords
Signed up for the subject premium crosswords and the Crosswords app on my iPad will not accept my login credentials. I keep getting the error message "Verification Failed". I can use a browser and sign into my account on their website and it is fine, so I know my Username and Password are correct.

You can use
Command ⌘ instead of
Control ^ on Mac

Please make sure that you’re entering your credentials into the full, paid version of the app via the ’Select Puzzle Providers’ option. The general ‘Crosswords Account’ option in both the free and paid version of the app are solely for puzzle progress syncing and leaderboard accounts only.

1. This is the paid version of your newer Crosswords app. Also, tried it in the paid version of the Crosswords Classic app. Same results.
2. I go to All Puzzles, American Values Club, click on the i, for information, and enter my username and password. I have accessed the credential pop up by both pressing “credentials not entered” and also by switching on the download slider. Neither works. I keep getting server will not verify credentials.

Can you log in via the website (https://avxwords.com/log-in/ )?

Yes, I can login to the website with no problem. That is what is so frustrating. I have entered my credentials manually, I have used Kaspersky’s Password Manager, and I have cut and pasted. I know what I am entering is correct, it just does not “verify” them.
