Browse the web function stopped,working 12/23/2021
The Browse the Web function stopped working as of 12/23/2021. You can still pull up the webpages for Wall Street Journal, Universal, etc, but when you tap a date, there is no pop-up response like usual and the download gets stuck and fails. Other downloads from regular sources or Get More Puzzles are working fine. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app but no change. Any ideas what to do?

Thanks Ben. I love the Crosswords app!
I am running iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 and Crosswords Classic version 2.88. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app and no help. All functions work except Browse the Web puzzles…the landing pages are fine but clicking an actual puzzle just hangs.
I suspect the problem might be with the underlying website, not the app itself. I copied several URLs of puzzles and tried to access them directly in a regular browser and they all hang for 60 seconds and then fail to “server stopped responding.” Examples URLs for Wall Street Journal and Universal Crosswords are below but the problem is the same for any puzzle date:

Hi Ben. Someone else from support already wrote and everything is working fine now. The issue was with the website, not the Crosswords app itself. Thanks!
