Long-time user on Palm OS; can't figure out Android application
New DROID owner, bought crosswords immediately, but can't figure out how it works. Also, lost the puzzle I was working on, don't know how to get it back. FAQ is not useful for a new player.

What is the problem you're experiencing on your Droid? You may want to sort the puzzle list by "Recent" (at the top of the list).

Okay, that idea about recent will help me now, but I can't figure out how to
navigate, that is change from across to down, what colors are the mistakes,
how to move to a particular box, I could go on and on. I've done hundreds of
puzzles on the PALM, but the navigation was so much easier. Isn't there any
short "manual" or instructions?
thanks

Bliss,
To switch from across to down or vice versa, tap the square, tap in the clue bar, or tap the clue on the list, click the trackball, or the center key if your device has the arrow keys. There is an instruction page under the help button from the main puzzle list that outlines these. You may have accidentally deleted the puzzle, you'd have to go the the "+" button which brings up the calendar and long click on it's date to get it again. Also, the errors are disabled by default, you can go into menu-> settings, or hit the gear icon on the main puzzle list screen to get to settings and from there you can enable "show mistakes" in which case they are red. You then have the option to make the type red or "invert" where the background goes red.
Hope this helps
Steve

It does indeed help, but the puzzle is much more awkward to use on my phone
than on my palm TX. At least I've moved along on a puzzle. I'm addicted to
the program.
