Crosswords app no longer connecting/downloading

I haven't been able to connect or download puzzles for a few days now. I tried the fix you already posted yesterday, I don't have operating system 4 so it wouln't apply anyway. I tried uninstalling the app then rebooting my device, then re-installing the app. I get the starter puzzles but no more will load. It just keeps saying in the bottom downloading... All my other functions of my device work fine. Please help if you can. Thanks.

    Oh yes I forgot to mention, my device is an iPod touch 2nd generation.

    Jim,

    There was a server hiccup earlier today that may have caused some problems after you deleted/re-installed. Try downloading now.

    If you're still having problems, you might want to check to see if you have a Crosswords account configured and, if you do, re-configure it within the app.

    Tried to download several times again, but no luck. Just keeps saying downloading puzzles... But never finishes. Been having this problem since at least since the weekend. Thanks for responding though.

    Try deleting and re-installing the app by following the instructions in this Apple support article:

    http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/application/#section_4

    Please note: deleting the app will delete all of your current puzzles and puzzle progress.

    I've been having the same issue and tried all of the fixes here. I have a iPhone 2g.

    Can you send us your Crossword database too? Just tap on the Settings gear on the puzzle list screen, then tap on the blue '>' button next to Send Feedback. Thanks!
