difficulty ratings
I'm new to crosswords and don't know what difficulty rating to begin with. Can someone please let me know what the average difficulty ratings of the various providers are? I'd like to download one or two puzzles from each ratings and have a go. Currently, I've download ~40 puzzles and they're all either Difficult or Moderate.

Difficulty ratings usually vary based on the weekday, and not necessarily by provider (for instance, Saturday puzzles are normally much more difficult than Monday puzzles).
If you're looking for easier puzzles, we suggest that you play the crosswords from People Magazine, Joseph and Puzzle Express instead.
