No subject
Since last update, crosswords will not open. When I tap on icon, it goes to crosswords screen but then goes back to my icon screen almost immediately. Trying to tap on any of the button on opening screen does nothing. I've deleted & reinstalled the app many times. Any suggestions. Won't work on my iPad 1 or iPad 3.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

It sounds like your database has been corrupted. Please try deleting and re-installing the app by following the instructions in this Apple support article:
