Details: Crosswords for iPhone v2.40 on iPhone 4S AT&T 64GB

When I complete a puzzle, I click the Delete Puzzle button at the bottom of the screen. I get the confirmation panel and when I confirm the deletion, strange things happen. The confirmation dialog appears to remain in place, the rest of the screen dims and then restores, but the app seems frozen. Clicking the home button appears to have no effect (but I'm not sure if it's changing home pages in the background). If I double-click the Home button, the "recently used apps" panel shows up at the bottom of the screen as usual. If I then remove the app from that list (hold the app icon until it wiggles, then touch the "(-)" button), the screen clears back to the normal home page screen. (If I had hit the Home button the right number of times to get to the Spotlight page, when I remove the app from the "recently used apps" list, I'm on the Spotlight page. This is why I suspect that the Home button is actually doing what it's supposed to and the Crosswords app just somehow has left it's image in front of everything.)

Also, deleting a puzzle from the puzzle's "Info" page crashes the app.

If you need any more details, please let me know.

There's a known issue with Crosswords v.2.4 where the app will hang if you have tabs turned off and you try to delete a puzzle via the 'Congratulations!' screen. If you encounter this bug, you can close the app by following these instructions:

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4211

This bug will be fixed in the next update, which will be submitted to Apple this week. Until then, we suggest that you either delete puzzles via the puzzle list, or enable the 'Use Tabs at Bottom' preference via the Settings gear on the puzzle list screen. Our apologies for the inconvenience!
