I just upgraded to crosswords v2.28 on my iPad and the game shuts down as soon as I open it also.

Please make sure that you've upgraded your iPad to iOS 4, as there's an issue with Crosswords that prevents it from running under iOS 3.2. You can find instructions on how to upgrade your iPad here:

I purchased this app for my Samsung Galaxy S II. It charged my card, but an error keeps coming up every time I try to download and install it.

I purchased this app on my ipod touch a couple of years ago and I love it. I recently bought a droid and was wondering if I would have to buy the game again for my new device or if there is a way to transfer it over.

Unfortunately, due to limitations with the App Store and Android Market, we're unable to issue free cross-platform upgrades. Sorry!
