My Crossword apps on both my iPhone and iPad have stopped downloading the NYTimes puzzles. My Times subscription is current, but when I provide my NYT login and password, I'm getting a "Validation Failed" prompt. However, I'm inputting the correct login and password. I contacted the Times, but they said it's you I should be contacting.

Are you sure you're entering your credentials into the New York Times provider form, and not the leaderboard account form? Tap on the Settings gear, then tap on 'Select Puzzle Provider' and then tap 'New York Times'.

Please try re-entering your Crosswords Account credentials by tapping on the Settings gear, then tap on the blue/white > button next to Crosswords Account (or Leaderboard Account), and then try re-authorizing your New York Times credentials.

Hold the phones. It works on my iPhone. Now, when I try to re-login to my Crosswords account on my iPad, I'm getting a "Sorry, this password is incorrect." But I know it isn't, because I just updated it.

That's what I'm trying to do. But my Crosswords (app) account isn't recognizing the password that I created on my iPhone. And I've clicked on the link that was emailed to me confirming the change.

Try resetting your account on the iPad too (just reset it with the same password that you used on your iPhone), and that should fix the issue. Our apologies for the inconvenience!
